By the way, doctor. I am a 73-year-old male. I've been diabetic for 50 years, and had a quintuple bypass eight years ago. I try to get an hour of exercise on a treadmill each day. While working out a couple of days ago, I developed a sudden sharp pain on my left side at about chest level, toward my back. Naturally I stopped, but I wondered when a person like me should call 911. Komaroff AL.Harv Health Lett. 2005 Dec;31(2):8.PMID: 16440457
Eighteen years ago I had quintuple bypass surgery. Recently, I began having frequent angina. My doctor suggested that I have an angiogram. The results showed my arteries were patent (open). The diagnosis was called small vessel disease. My question is, how do I make new collateral vessels? [No authors listed]Heart Advis. 2007 Oct;10(10):12.PMID: 18254170
